A brief time lapse of a work in progress. This painting was inspired by travelling on highway 101 and viewing the oregon coast from above. Much of my new work is inspired by water, and different approaches to depict this strong natural force.
Another version, slightly longer with color, a bit rough around the edges but exciting to think of the prospects of storytelling and image-making in this way. It is interesting to see the process of art making. Drawn freehand using Sketchbook Pro for iPad and the #Wacom Bamboo Stylus.
Played around a bit with Sketchbook Pro’s Time-Lapse Recording option, which gives one an interesting insight on how the process of a drawing comes together. Used Sketchbook Pro for the iPad with a Wacom bamboo stylus.
A short film including time lapse of a visit to Japan in May 2013. Features the City of Kobe, Kyoto, and Hiroshima and Miyajima ropeway, maiko dancing, the Fushimi Inari Shrine, Narita Airport in Tokyo, and views from hotels set to an original score.
Experimenting shooting time lapse of flowers for compositing into a scene for the short film Sister Vengeance. Using a blue screen allows one to separate the image from the background, and insert the object into any scene. In this case, the object is a bundle of small flowers picked and suspended from the ceiling.
